"While Shaina looks forward to her engaging, hands-on Sunday morning classes every week, my husband and I have come to look forward to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of Winchevsky events, and the opportunities to schmooze with our fellow Shule parents." |
Bubbies and Zaydies on Camera - Collecting Jewish Oral Histories Who are we? What are our diverse roots? What would you like to learn about your grandparents’ generation and their contribution to our history as progressive Canadians and secular Jews? You will be taught how to ask good questions, how to use a video camera and edit the results, and above all, learn interesting things about your bubbies and zaydies (grandmothers and grandfathers). Louise Rosenberg-Lee is a 2002 Morris Winchevsky School graduate, and is currently a university student planning to major in anthropology. Louise brings her extensive experience in theatre, film-making and videography to the classroom.
